Hi everyone, it’s time for what I’m loving again!
Hope everyone is ready for spring and lots of healing, soul-warming sunshine. I know I am!
I’ve got lots of fun things to share, and hope you discover something new to try!
Let’s get to it!
Books that I’m loving
My Dear Hamilton by Stephanie Dray & Laura Kamoie – Oh how I loved this book!! I had watched Hamilton on Disney+ awhile back and loved it! I had this book on my amazon wish list for a while and finally, read it. It was captivating! I could not put it down. It’s told by Hamiltons wife Eliza. Based on actual history and solid research, it’s an amazing story of who the man Alexander Hamilton was and his relationship with his wife Eliza. So after finishing the book, I watched Hamilton again, and it was even more amazing the 2nd time because of the book! The story and characters had so much more meaning. Read this book and then watch Hamilton!
Feel Better in 5 by Rangan Chatterjee – I have read all of Dr. Chatterjee’s books and they never disappoint. The way that this book works is you pick 3 habits (they are called health snacks in the book) that you want to change and improve on and you do them 3 times a day for 5 minutes. The habits are from categories of Mind, Body, and Heart, and can fall into categories of how To Get Less and How To Get more. How easy is that?! Example: maybe you want fewer headaches, but want to sleep better and have less stress. There are lots of areas to choose from. The great thing though based on Dr. Chatterjees’ practice, he has put together a list combination that he has seen work powerfully in his own clients. So if you want to cultivate some healthy habits, and improve on areas of struggle, this is a great book to help you get there with just a few minutes a day.
Essential Oil
Mediation Essential Oil by Edens Garden – This oil is amazing!! I diffuse essential oils every day. I especially love this one when I’m working on my computer, and I seem to get so much more done, and feel relaxed at the same time. The smell is beautiful and instantly makes you feel calm and centered.
Hair
MorroccanOil Volumizing Mist – I love these products! They smell amazing and they do what they say. Just spray this on as a finishing spray, and it gives wonderful volume. Also, I love it when I skip a day washing my hair! You just spray this in your hair and your good to go!
MorroccanOil Thickening Lotion – I’m all about getting my fine hair pumped up with volume! This cream does that! Apply to damp hair from roots to ends, and dry your hair. A little bit is all you need. You will love your silky, shiny amazing smelling hair. I think if you air-dry your hair, the results would be awesome as well!
Stress and Sleep
Osea Vagus Nerve Oil – This oil was a great find and I LOVE it, and so does my hubby! Your vagus nerve reaches from your brain to your gut. It is the main component of the autonomic and parasympathetic nervous systems. It oversees moods, bodily functions and relays information from vital organs to the brain. This oil will regulate stress, aid digestion, and improve your sleep.
Just a couple of drops at night behind your ears and down the sides of your neck will quiet you and melt your stress. It’s amazing! I let my husband try it, and now he says he can’t sleep without it. I find I sleep longer with more of a quiet mind. It smells beautiful and it’s so therapeutic for you. You can purchase it alone, or with a Pillow Vagus Nerve Spray mist which I love also. Super clean ingredients derived from plants and the ocean. I know you will love this one!
Olly Stress Gummies – These little gummies are the best and they work. With a combination of Gaba and L-theanine, they totally take the edge off when you’re having a stressful day. The dosage is 2 gummies, but I find 1 works just fine. They taste great and work fast. Goodbye stress!
Skincare that I’m loving
Retinol 0.5% in Squalene by Ordinary – These products are result-oriented, and really deliver results! Retinol is the gold standard in esthetics for anti-aging and you will see why with this product. A few drops on the skin every other night will give you bright even skin, all the while keeping wrinkles away! I had no stinging or irritation either. This is such a bargain for the price! It will give you high-end results without the cost!
Buffet Peptide Serum by Ordinary – This is a powerful antioxidant packed with peptides. A few drops are all you need to target multiple signs of aging. Reduce wrinkles, increase firmness and get your skin glowing in just a few days!
Sweet Cherry Polishing Scrub for Lips by Naturopathica – Lips need exfoliating too! This lip scrub is your answer! One little dab massaged onto damp lips will give you the softest lips that look healthy and flake-free. This has been so nice during the cold winter months, but I will be using it all year long. Once a week will keep your lips in beautiful condition.
Kitchen
Mini Masher – I am always mashing avocados and wish I had something better than a fork to do it with. I found this mini masher, and I am loving it! Who would have thought it could make mashing avocados so quick and easy? LOVE this little gadget! Of course, it can be used on multiple things but it’s an answer for me with avocados. Give it a try and happy mashing to you!
Goal Setting that I’m loving
Cultivate What Matters Power Sheets – I love planners and making goals. I have talked about my Passion Planner before and how much I love it. I use it every day, and it’s always with me. The Cultivate power Sheets is a good companion to any planner if you really want to look at your goals in a bigger way, then break them down into bite-size steps. I love this company and what they stand for. When you purchase the power sheets you are automatically enrolled into their Goal School, which is fun and encouraging in helping you achieve goals and dreams. I said I was going to give it this year to see how I like it, but right now I’m loving it, and it’s really helping me stay on track with some things I would like to accomplish this year. This was a great find and I think it’s here to stay!
That’s it for this list! Hope you discover something new and you love it!
Happy Spring everyone!
Until next time,
~pat
