I love skincare tools, and I hope you will love them too!
They are quick and easy and give amazing results! If your skin looks like it just needs something but you’re not sure what, it may be time to use a tool. Products are great, but the tools are what elevate your routine into powerful, visible changes.
Let’s dive in and talk about 4 tools you and your skin will love!
- Guasha. I’ve talked about this little tool a lot! That’s because it works! Fast, easy, relaxing, and gives immediate results. I love to do it at night because in the morning my skin just looks better. Brighter, more toned, and glowy. When you are doing a guasha practice on your face, you are stimulating your fascia and lymphatic system. This is going to help depuff and clear out stagnation in your face. That’s why you get quick results in about 5 minutes.
- Microneedling Roller. I love this little tool! In just a few minutes, you can stimulate collagen and bring renewed blood flow to your skin that lasts for days. On nights you use the needleroller, go gentle on skincare products afterward. No retinol or peeling products. Use something gentle and nourishing, and your skin will look amazing in the morning.

- Microcurrent. This may be new for you, but it’s worth looking into! If you really want more lift and tone, this practice will give you those results. This tool creates muscle memory in the face and basically retrains those little muscles to become tighter and more lifted.
- LED Light. I love LED for the face! It’s healing, rejuvenating, and de-aging! The red light is the most useful for lines and wrinkles and will also change the texture of your skin. You will love this treatment, I promise!
What are these tools actually doing and how do you use them?
Guasha. You’re improving the facial circulation and lymph drainage, and creating more contour in the face. This is really great if you have puffiness under the eyes or anywhere else also. Guasha stones come in many types of stone and even stainless steel. I love
all of them!
To get started, apply a facial oil all over the face. I like to do 3-5 strokes on each section of the face. It’s quick and feels wonderful. No heavy pressure is needed. Gentle, slow glides moving the facial muscles give the best results.
Microneedling. A workout for your facial muscles. Creates tiny micro-injuries (it’s ok, it’s all good!), which helps to stimulate more collagen and elastin in the healing process. The skin knows what to do!
To prepare the skin, apply an oil- or serum-type product to the face. The roller will push these ingredients deeper into the skin to create visible change. Use the vertical, horizontal, and diagonal patterns on small sections of the face until you have covered all sections.
Microcurrent. This tool uses low-level electrical currents that stimulate the muscles. Remember the muscle memory? You’re doing that now. It will also give you a more sculpted look where you need it.
You will need a gel-like product as the conductor for the microcurrent. Organic aloe vera gel works great as a substitute!
LED. It will help stimulate collagen, and your skin will look brighter and more radiant using specific wavelengths of light that target the powerhouse cells in your skin.
No product is necessary on the face. Use the light for about 3-5 minutes per area of the face. A handheld LED is great for this. Afterward, apply your nourishing serums and moisturizers. That’s it!
I like to use these tools on alternate nights because I think it gives the best results.
Hope this gets you a little excited to try something new in your skincare regimen and see some great results. Try one or all of these tools and take your skin to a new level tonight!
Until next tiem,
~Pat
