What I’m Loving Newsletter #19

January 19, 2026

What I'm Loving Newsletter Time to share what I’m loving!  Some newbies and I had to mention some oldies again because I’m still loving them so much and use them often.

Hope you enjoy and find something new to love!

Let’s dive in!

Skincare

Dr. Whitney Bowe Asta C – I’ve been on the fence about trying some of these products because they are a little pricey. Black Friday had a good sale, so I decided to jump in.  I’m still happy with the Dime products I use, but I wanted something stronger to accelerate some results.  Right now, I am loving this C product.  I love that it’s a cream and packed with cutting-edge ingredients which feel more hydrating.  And I can honestly say I saw a difference in my skin in a matter of days. I love that it’s developed by a dermatologist and that you can purchase refill cartridges instead of repurchasing a whole bottle of the product.  Smart marketing!  This is going to be a repurchase for me because I’m loving it!

Dr. Whitney Bowe Glow Moisturizer – This came with the bundle I purchased, and I love it also.  This is a thicker moisturizer, and my dry skin loves it.  Great ingredients consisting of prebiotics, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, etc., to target hydration and aging. This is also a keeper.

Just Ingredients Facial Oil – This still remains one of my favorite facial oils. It’s clean, it’s simple, smells great, and makes my skin glow.  I will always use this one. The citrus fragrance is my favorite.

Health

Thorne Fibermend – Fiber is having a comeback because science is showing its importance for long-term health and overall longevity. I love this company and this fiber brand.  Tasteless, mixes well, and keeps your system moving and happy!

Pure Synergy Radiant Mood – This is a wonderful product I’m loving. It has super clean ingredients, and it’s a beautiful blend to keep your moods balanced and peaceful.  On those days or weeks when you need a little more calm, this product works wonderfully.  Just the aroma from the jar is grounding! One or two a day can really make a difference.

MegaFood Vitamin B12 – I’ve talked about these before, and they have been a lifesaver during the shorter days of winter. They give me a nice energy boost to keep me going and feeling productive, even when it’s cold and dreary outside. These are an everyday staple for me.

Bio-Optimizer Magnesium Breakthrough – I am loving these magnesium supplements right now. With 7 different types of magnesium, they have you covered. Take them about an hour before bed to feel more relaxed and calm in your body, so you can get a good night’s sleep.

Mary Ruths Respiratory Health – Whenever I get a bad cold, it sometimes goes to my lungs and wants to stay there for a while. So I’m concentrating on elevating my lung health, and this product is helping.  It’s a liquid which I love and is so easy to take. Targeted herbs to strengthen the lungs and keep you healthy all year long.

Makeup I’m Loving

Summer Fridays Blush Butter Balm Blush – This was such a nice find!  I’m trying to go more cream-based in makeup products because powders can just be drying and aging. This balm-like hydrating blush fits the bill for that! Wonderful for the cold winter days. Hydrating and glowy all in one makes it a perfect little blush.

Dime Tinted Wonderscreen SPF – This is the best sunscreen.  I have a non-tinted one I like as well, but this one I keep coming back to.  Winter can leave my skin so pale and washed out.  This beautiful hydrating tint gives me a subtle sun-kissed look, which makes me happy. It only comes in 3 shades.  I use the 02 shade. It may look a little dark on, but it melts into the skin and just leaves a nice glow.  Try this if your skin needs a little perking up!

Books

The Book of Lost Names by Kristen Harmel – This was such a great story.  It’s about a young woman during the war who, because of her artistic talents, becomes a document forger to help Jewish children escape to safety. She keeps a book of all their real names in secret, so someday they can be found by their families.  It’s riveting at times, emotional, and just great storytelling and writing.

In Order To Live by Yeonmi Park – A memoir of a young North Korean girl and her mother, and their escape to freedom. It brings to light what people are living through this very day in North Korea and the danger that some are willing to take to have a new life.  The story is brave, harrowing,  and it doesn’t seem possible that someone could survive all that they did.

Thats it for now! Hope you check some things out, and find a new favorite to try!

Until next time,

~Pat
